This high-end A5 landscape format video box was engineered with both precision and polish. Measuring L240mm x W190mm x D40mm, the box included a 7″ HD IPS screen and integrated media functionality. Compact, sleek, and immersive, the video box was designed specifically to house a branded Rocket Book notebook, ensuring the physical gift was just as memorable as the digital experience.

Strategic Design – Function Meets Form

The success of this packaging solution hinged on the smart use of internal space. A hinged shelf structure allowed for clean presentation, separating visual media from printed materials without compromising ease of use. The Rocket Book was housed beneath this shelf, which folded back to reveal the gift neatly cradled in place — giving the entire experience a sense of discovery and organisation.

The top of the hinged shelf featured:

  • Key Radisson Meetings information
  • A prominently placed QR code for fast digital access
  • Branding elements and callouts, printed in vibrant full-colour CMYK
  • A smooth matte lamination finish for a premium feel and enhanced durability

Every design choice was made to echo Radisson’s commitment to high-end experiences — from meeting rooms to marketing materials.

Impactful, Scalable Client Outreach

With a production run of 1,200 units, this video box project wasn’t just a one-off innovation — it became a cornerstone of Radisson’s client engagement strategy. Of those, 1,000 units included custom-branded Rocket Books, each printed in two colours to align perfectly with the Radisson Meetings brand palette.

Each box was also preloaded with a promotional video, easily controlled via a simple play/pause button, giving the user control while maintaining a seamless interface. The video screen activated automatically when the lid was opened, creating a dynamic first impression that instantly captured attention.

The final result was more than a sales tool — it was an experience. This integrated approach to print, video, and merchandise provided a fresh and immersive way to present Radisson Meetings’ capabilities. It successfully combined tactile luxury with digital innovation, reinforcing the brand’s reputation for professionalism, detail, and thoughtful service delivery.
