RReady is a dynamic, innovation-driven company based in Germany, known for helping organisations around the world empower their employees through structured innovation programs. With a presence in over 15 countries and partnerships with more than 40 global clients, RReady specialises in cultivating entrepreneurial mindsets within large organisations. When RReady approached Magellan to support their flagship ‘Kickbox’ initiative, the goal was clear — to build a highly engaging, interactive, and premium packaging solution that could house both printed innovation materials and branded merchandise. They chose to do this through the use of custom video boxes with 7″ screens, designed to create excitement, deliver program content, and reinforce their brand identity through high-quality design and tactile presentation.

To support the program’s scale and impact, the boxes were created in several colour variants (red, blue, and yellow), each aligning with a different stage or theme in the Kickbox methodology. This tailored approach helped turn each package into an inspiring, user-led experience from the moment it arrived.

Kickbox Toolboxes – Interactive Learning Meets Intelligent Design

RReady’s custom Kickbox video packaging was carefully engineered to communicate and educate, not just contain. Each 7″ video presentation box featured:

  • Dual-language playback (German & English) for global accessibility
  • Autoplay screen functionality, with simple controls for volume and pause
  • Dedicated buttons for chapter-based navigation, guiding users through different stages of the program
  • A removable top shelf holding the essential innovation guidebook, sticker sets, templates, and gadget cards — all co-branded with RReady’s logo and their friendly mascot, Boxley
  • A printed ribbon pull for easy access and refined unboxing
  • A personal message beneath the shelf, reinforcing user connection and motivation

These thoughtful details created a tool that was not only informative but also deeply personal — each box was a branded environment that motivated employees to take ownership of their ideas. By transforming static information into a digitally interactive experience, RReady ensured better comprehension, higher engagement, and a lasting impression.

These items were secured beneath the video shelf using protective foam fitments — ensuring both safety and visual appeal during unboxing.

The promotional collection included:

  • Branded socks and mugs
  • Notebooks and water bottles with metal screw lids
  • Full-size Boxley teddy bears and custom sweaters
  • Premium coasters and other useful desktop items

Each item was handpicked to strike the right balance between practicality and brand storytelling — functional enough for everyday use, yet distinctively branded to make a lasting impression. These curated gifts helped solidify RReady’s innovation culture while offering recipients tangible tools that could be used throughout their idea development journey.
